Horses Needing Homes
All horses on this page are looking for loving homes for life with a new owner. These horses came to us for various reasons, most of them being the owners could no longer afford them, or they were rescued from an unfortunate situation, or were just with the wrong owner. All horses for sale or adoption are sound and healthy, unless listed as being a pasture pet only. I require the interested new owner to work with me and the horse if they live locally. At the end of thirty days I have a right to refuse a placement if I think they are not a good match. We are looking for good, loving, committed homes for these horses with owners who treat them as family and keep them for life. They deserve that much. Please consider giving one of these horses a good home so that we may continue to help others.
Nicole
Nicole is an estimated 13 yr old beautiful bay arabian mare who is well started under saddle. She is nice and heavier boned, not a fine boned arab. This lovely mare is light and sensitive to the bit and has always been sound. Nicole can be started on trail if requested and needs an intermediate rider. $1,000.
Tanner
Tanner is a handsome 6 year old quarter horse gelding, AQHA registered name, Just Chippin Away. Has been trained well under saddle for western pleasure and knows all his cues. He previously needed chiropractic adjustments to his neck and hip and is pain free now. He likes people, has excellent manners and a very sweet temperament. Tanner would need to go to a home with light riding only, not hard or performance work and no heavy rider. $1000.
Tinkerbell
Tink is a striking 14 yr old gray Thoroughbred mare, registered name, Schu Scootinboogie, and an ex racer. A suspensory injury ended her racing career when she was younger. We are looking for a loving non-breeding home for her where she can spend her days getting pampered and not become a baby factory. She likes interacting with people and has nice ground manners. She is fairly sound but has never really been ridden. Pasture pet home only for this special and beautiful girl who deserves a nice retirement. Adoption only, free to right owner.
Toy
Toy is a 14 yr old bay Thoroughbred mare, registered name Toyi Toyi. She previously was a broodmare and was started under saddle a few years ago. She has experience with her previous owner doing hunter pace. She was returned to FalconRidge after sustaining a wire cut to her coronet band and was striking out while her dressing was being changed. Toy no longer strikes and has impeccable ground manners. She is looking for a loving home for life. Adoption fee - $800
Wakan
Wakan is a beautiful dark bay paint gelding, approximately 5 yrs old. He was raised in a pasture and only handled for hoof trims for the last 4 yrs. He's been started under saddle and is a sweet and handsome horse. Wakan would need an intermediate or experienced rider. Awesome personality plus! $1000
Laredo
Laredo is a 5 year old dun mustang gelding. He is currently in training and only halter broke at this time. Laredo was abandoned by his previous owner and left here and needs a loving home with someone with mustang experience. Beautiful color! Pictures to come. $800
Cimmaron
Cimmaron is a 6 yr old dun mustang mare who needs a loving home. She is only halter broke and currently in training. She was given up by her previous owners and came from another rescue. Nice sweet personality. Pictures to come. $800
Mohican
Mohican arrived recently and is an approximately 18 yr old handsome appaloosa gelding. Mohican rides well and appears to have some cow work or team penning in his background. He has a blind spot in one eye but does not bother him. Very energetic boy who likes to get in a hurry at the canter, as in used to run barrels, but is slowing down with training. Mohican appears to have a lot of experience and is looking for a forever home. He has a good disposition and would be perfect for an intermediate rider. $1200
